De meningen verschillen er vast over of King of Asgard met deze tweede plaat Amon Amarth al voorbij is, maar het moge duidelijk zijn dat de heren in de juiste richting voort rocken. Spijtig dat one-trick pony Helene Blad weer van stal is gehaald, maar Dethklok-achtige solo’s, aan Mithotyn herinnerende melodielijnen en thrashende riffs maken veel goed.
